What branch of the code are you using to do the translation with? The reason I am asking is that for the 4.2 release as far as I know everything should be localizable. Even the CD installer can be localized now. --martin From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jan Thiemo Fricke Sent: Saturday, August 21, 2010 6:45 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [sipx-users] sipxconfig tapestry ignores some properties files Hi members, Im working on a more complete translation of the sipxconfig webinterface into german. 90 percent are done by simply adding xyz_de.properties files into /etc/sipxpbx and the sipxconfig.war file. Unfortunately there seem to be some pages that dont read the international properties file. E.g. UserCallForwardingPanel in the user_portal. In UserCallForwadingPanel.properties is a String Extension {0} will ring first for If I modify these String I can see the change in the Webinterface. That means the default properties file (English) is used. But the other properties files (tried german and Italian) seem to be ignored. What can I do to make tapestry read the international propierties files? Another problem is the localization of the components using GWT. My pragmatical approach was to replace the hardcoded english labels with german labels. But of course thats no solution. Ill have to learn how to use localization in GWT Thanks in advance Jan -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Jan Fricke B.Sc. Cs.
