First, callcentric is a BAD example for too many reasons.

ANY commercial oriented ITSP can allow you multiple DID numbers on a single
trunking account. They will also let you specify your outbound callerid at
the user level.

For example: the "templated" list of ITSP's in sipx leads you in a certain
direction of ITSP's who work in this way.

What your perceptions are right now are improperly formed by an experience
with another ITSP who does things differently.

I've said this before, now again, ALL ITSP'S ARE NOT EQUAL. Some don't send
the DID in the INVITE. Some don't allow multiple DID's on an account (some
even require a registration per DID!). Some don't let you send your own
callerid. Some don't let you specify your registration port.

A quick easy example that works is voip.ms. A 20 dollar account has you
registering and doing all that most people need.

I understand some people use different carriers due to specific needs, but
let's not cloud the issue by assuming sipxbridge is somehow the problem...

Subject: [sipx-users] Multiple SIP Trunking

I was under the impression that multple phone number sip trunking is
allowed with sipx. If I am not mistaken, I saw someplace that
multiple phone numbres could receive incoming phone calls. Whereas,
outgoing, you could have only one. If this is so, sipx doesn't allow
me to add another gateway for sipxbridge-1.

Could somebody clarify this.

Thanks in advance
