what version of sipx? at least 4.2.0?

also, 'several phones connected to this number'? what does that mean?
you have ( < 8 ? > 8? ) phones with one USER 'connected to this number'?
you have one sipx user connected with the inbound DID ringing 8 phones at once?
or you have 8 users, each with an individual extension (user number?)

what you need is 8 users, in a hunt group, with a dial plan allowing any of them to dial out.

then the users can either park and pick up the line, or transfer it to another user.
