Ok, so you CAN'T take an analog fax, plug it into a cisco/linx pap ata
and have it send or receive faxes.
but it works great on level3, but it seems that if I route the exact
same fax over voip.ms, it fails every time.
Anyone else seeing this? anyone else silly enough to try to send
analog/=_digital->digital->analog faxes out sipx 4.2.0?
equipment:
sipx 4.2.0, pap and pap2t ata's with latest firmware. dialplan routes
everything but florida intrastate out level3
florida intrastate calls get routed out voip.ms.
pap's have codex FIXED at G.711, and neither the ATA, nor the (analog
fax) directly support T.38 fax.
