just a FYI, not broadcasting the SSID doesn't really do that much good.
any client that tries to connect to the hidden SSID broadcasts it in the
clear, and if an AP responds, any sniffer worth its salt can then watch
the 'hidden' SSID.
no, we don't broadcast our SSID, hoping that the skiddies in the lobby
don't know this.
but, it doesn't help all that much.
like mac address filtering.. defeated by mac address spoofing.
cisco phones can't do WAP2?.. won't connect to non broadcasting SID?
bad on them!
