I am seeing a high number of these at a site. It's not on every calls, and if I try long enough I can get it to reproduce.
I've noticed the VM system ends the voicemail after 10 seconds of silence (continuous) has passed. I think that works fine. What I do not understand is why someone would get cut off when (mid sentence, so long duration of silence) and always at the 30 second mark, but not on every call. There are no qos/latency or other trunk issues. The caller might be using a landline or cell, there is no specific calling pattern that this happens on. Just the recording is stopped at 30 seconds. To that end I do not see any adjustable (exposed anyway) settings for voicemail, and am trying to see if anyone else has seen the same issues before I go digging through "why". -- ====================== Tony Graziano, Manager Telephone: 434.984.8430 sip: [email protected] Fax: 434.326.5325 Email: [email protected] LAN/Telephony/Security and Control Systems Helpdesk: Telephone: 434.984.8426 sip: [email protected] Helpdesk Contract Customers: http://support.myitdepartment.net <http://support.myitdepartment.net>Blog: http://blog.myitdepartment.net Linked-In Profile: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/tony-graziano/14/4a6/7a4
