I got it to register this morning, but I make one call and the handset freezes and displays Assert:buffmgr.c ln 279. I googled this and found an action that was from October, 2010. Could you share the contents of you sip_allusers.cfg file with me so I can compare to what I currently have?
I saw the Spectralink configuration cradle, got a price for it of $236.55 from my supplier. Thanks, Mark W. They had to build some new firmwares to get the 8020 working properly with either sipx 4.2.1 or 4.4. These were problems that didn't exist in 4.0.4. We eventually got everything working. There is one lingering issue, but it appears to be related to my ITSP. I would try contacting their support and asking if they have a new firmware for your model. Also, I highly recommend the handset administration tool if they offer that for the 8002. I don;t think I ever would have gotten it working properly if I had to build all those config files by hand. Figured out that the config files need to be edited down to their smallest essentials instead of just commenting out the unneeded parts. Phone pulls the config files but doesn't show in diagnostics->registrations. Has anyone got experience with this setup? Thanks, Mark W.
