Hi, I have two sites connected via VPN and site-to-site gateways/dialplan. Site to site dialing works like a charm. Both sites have Audiocodes gateways (Mediant 1000PRI and MP118 FXO on other site) as gateways to PSTN. I am wondering is it possible to use remote site's gateway to place long distance calls? For example can I define remote gateway on local site and create dial plan which will use that gateway? What I tried is to define a gateway (as an unmanaged one pointing to the remote Mediant one) and then created dial plan as prefix 1NNN and 7 digits to dial out as NNN and dialed 7 digits using defined gateway but I am getting fast busy signal. Sipviewer shows 407 registration requests coming from remote site. This happens if I try to use either remote Mediant or site-to-site gateway. I even tried to define same user on remote site but no avail. Has anyone ever tried this?
