If you look at the sipxconfig.log in debug when you change a user i think it tells you the location of these files. Perhaps an interesting thing for the wiki, but I might be persuaded to wait since a lot of replication stuff is being changed to mongo for 4.6..., so all of this might be version 4.4 only and 4.6 is coming... (eventually).
