When you are connecting to an ITSP over a different providers Internet connection, how do you guys handle the QOS and such? I know how to handle it within my network, but there are still a few unknowns to me. In the Verizon MPLS world, we pay for a certain amount of Gold CAR and make sure it is always more than our maximum amount of bandwidth our VoIP calls would use. That ensures the calls are the highest priority possible. Does an Internet connection (TW Telecom, not cable in this case)typically have a similar concept? Is that a question only the Internet provider can answer? I thought someone here might have some info they could share on the subject.
Thanks as always. -----Original Message----- From: "Todd Hodgen" <[email protected]> Sender: [email protected] Date: Tue, 20 Sep 2011 11:35:03 To: 'Discussion list for users of sipXecs software'<[email protected]> Reply-To: Discussion list for users of sipXecs software <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Favorite ITSP... sorry to beat a dead horse _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/ _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
