I think there is a great potential for simple Web clients (without all the
many controls that fat clients offer).  These things can then also run on
tablets and smartphones

I don't prefer flash either, just mentioned it because it's the rage right
now. I'm sure there are better tools.
It's just an idea that I've had for a long time and wondered if it might be
worth bringing it up. Sounds like others have thought about similar
solutions. 
More than anything, my hope is mainly to make things crazy simple for the
end user not to mention support.
