The price standard is a pro standard. The sup side of that piece is agnostic.
What matters (I think) is what the telco and your hardware both properly support and agree on. Outbound caller id is handled by the telco (they control cnam out) and if thy allow you to send caller number then it is whatever sipx sends. We normally use NI2 and we have no calllerid issues. For inbound calls whatever the pstn passes and the equipment agrees to passes, is sent to sipx and should display properly.
