Thank you Mike,
What I am trying to achieve is to find a tested way to backup a SIPX
instance on the VM server .. That should backup everything like SIPX
software and config, something like the Ghost software that can capture a
backup image of the running SIPX instance on the VMware. In case anything
went wrong then we can just restore from this saved image to create a new
instance that is identical to the corrupted one ..

Regards
Saad

All you need to make sure you do is setup backup in the GUI to run once a
day.

if you want to get the complete backup off that machine create a cron job
and copy them from /var/log/sippbx/backup

Or use the FTP backup option...

If you tweak any other files in /etc such as named.conf or dhcpd.conf you
may also want to grab copies of them.

Hello,
I would like to find out if there are any recommended products for backing
up a SIPX instance installed on a VM Server. Is Granular Backup an option?
Thank you
Saad
