I also think subscribe should not be forwarded to gateways, I see this with users who subscribe to presence in speed dial when the speeddial is a PSTN number. I somehow think this is part of the same overall issue with subscribe in this instance. I also think sipxconfig could remedy this by qualifying the existence of the user on the system when presence is checked though...
