Hi all (but in particular Dann and Geoffroy), since I moved to Ubuntu (more exactly Kubuntu 7.04) in my laptop, I have a perfect environment to test the Debian support and the nice work you've done.
Honestly, I've only a limited experience with deb packaging and Debian rules, but I tried to merge the debian/ dir into the trunk, based on your work taken from here: http://svn.systemimager.org/listing.php?repname=systemimager-debian&path=%2Ftrunk%2F&rev=0&sc=0 Now with a simple `make deb` it's possible to create some deb packages, that are not (for sure) perfectly compliant with Debian rules, but I think it's a good start. In particular I think it's very important to have this option in the main tree to make the development easier. For this reason I also gave to Geoffory the write permissions to the main systemimager svn repository. Let me know if you have some comments, feedbacks, objections, etc. Cheers, -Andrea ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
