I can't. that one does not (or did not) have tg3 or nvidia ethernet drivers....doesn't do me much good to look for a dhcp server on loopback :)

The si_prepareclient runs the use your own kernel stuff and generates a kernel and initrd just fine. If that's going to be the case, we should be able to USE our own kernel, no?

VERSION="3.5.3", then checks that against the out put of
"uname -r" on boot.
well, that's NEVER going to succeed.  I've temporarily
modified my functions
to use the same command for both KERNEL_VERSION and VERSION.
Can someone
fill me in on what that was SUPPOSED to be doing?
