Hi, Bernard. Sorry to take so long following up on this question. things are very busy here. (wish I could get SI going so I wouldn't be so busy :)

I believe our network I/F do support PXE-boot but it has never been setup here. I am not sure this matters but we are not using DHCP either.

Our IT department likes the idea of using DHCP to hand out fixed IP addresses, by the way. Is there a dependency on SI using DHCP if boot images are served via PXE?
