Subject: [Sisuite-users] Problems with DL385 servers
Hi all,
I'm trying to clone linux-based, IBM HS20
Blade
servers and HP DL385 servers with SI 3.6.3. Blades
work fine,
but in the case of HPs, once generated the
golden client, I'm unable to
download the software
image in the target server.
Problems start with
the internal HD detection. At the
installation script, it isn't recognized
as
/dev/cciss/host0/target0/disc, which apparently is the
name that the
isolinux os assigns to it. That makes
the image deployment fail.
I've
managed to make point the $DISK0 variable to that
and, with some other minor
changes, I'm able to
download the image and write it to the disk.
The
problem now is that the installation fails while
trying to generate
the hardware.lst file and, what is
worse, when running the systemconfigurator
command -it
gives some 'label ... not found at system'.
Any ideas on
how to solve this?
Many thanks in
advance!
Francisco
