Yes, it looks like the uni's firewall is blocking it.  Shame!

I think if you set up a user account with SF, and I give it permission to
use CVS to cvs.sitescooper.sourceforge.net, that will then not use the
PServer connection to port 2401, and instead will just use SSH to connect.
(If any CVS gurus are out there, I'd appreciate confirmation if this is
the case, I'm not certain).

In that case, if the firewall allows SSH outgoing connections, it will
work OK.
