I recently installed a copy of sitescooper and have been trying to configure it. However, I have had no luck at all getting the .pdb file to generate. I read the manual and searched this group with no luck so far. Here is the closest thing I found in the docs:
"There may be a problem on Windows NT with commands run from Perl that are not in the command path. If sitescooper scoops all the sites you set it up with, but the converters do not run and the installable PRC files are not generated, try copying the converter you're using into the path; this may fix it. " This seems to describe EXACTLY my problem. I am not using NT, but I am using Windows 2000 Professional. Everything generates, the TXT, CACHE, but not the PRC files. I have added the x:\ISILO to the path where isiloc32.exe is located. I am out of ideas. I am so close, but that darn .pdb file just doesn't want to generate. BTW, I have also used the - debug option which returns the following (just the bottom portion of the log file): _______________________________________ Running: g:\isilo\iSiloC32.exe -y -U -Is300 -Ic -Id -i"2001-Dec-17: Beyond 2000" "g:\sitescooper-3.1.2\tmp\txt\2001_12_17_Beyond_2000 \2001_12_17_Beyond_2000.html" "g:\sitescooper-3.1.2 \tmp\prc\2001_12_17_Beyond_2000.pdb" debug: output dir: g:\sitescooper-3.1.2\tmp\txt\2001_12_17_Beyond_2000 debug: output index: g:\sitescooper-3.1.2\tmp\txt\2001_12_17_Beyond_2000 \2001_12_17_Beyond_2000.html debug: Saving new modtime age cache entry: www.beyond2000.com => 1007531721 (Dec 17 2001) SITE END: done scooping site "g:\sitescooper-3.1.2 \site_samples/tech/beyond2000.site". _______________________________________ Everything seems great, but the *.pdb file is not in the g:\sitescooper- 3.1.2\tmp\prc\ directory. Any help or input appreciated. Thanks, _______________________________________________ Sitescooper-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sitescooper-talk
