No problem...I hope you can help. I have attached a file in simple NOTEPAD
format with the entire thread (I think). In any event, the thread should
give you a good idea of what is going on. Basically, I cannot get the .pdb
file to generate. Apparently, someone else is having the same problem (as
you can see from his message.) I am convinced the problem is with ISilo
conversion utility because everything else seems to be there. I hope you
can help. Thank you in advance.
BTW...I have separated the messages in the attached file by adding a line
of * between them.

I recently installed a copy of sitescooper and have been trying to
configure it. However, I have had no luck at all getting the .pdb file to
generate. I read the manual and searched this group with no luck so far.
Here is the closest thing I found in the docs:
"There may be a problem on Windows NT with commands run from Perl that are
not in the command path. If sitescooper scoops all the sites you set it up
with, but the converters do not run and the installable PRC files are not
generated, try copying the converter you're using into the path; this may
fix it. "
This seems to describe EXACTLY my problem. I am not using NT, but I am
using Windows 2000 Professional. Everything generates, the TXT, CACHE, but
not the PRC files. I have added the x:\ISILO to the path where
isiloc32.exe is located. I am out of ideas. I am so close, but that
darn .pdb file just doesn't want to generate. BTW, I have also used the -
debug option which returns the following (just the bottom portion of the
log file):

Everything seems great, but the *.pdb file is not in the g:\sitescooper-
3.1.2\tmp\prc\ directory. Any help or input appreciated.
Thanks,

Not sure if you saw my post, but this sounds VERY similar to my problem. The
scooping is working fine, it's just not converting to the pdb. The messages
I get are:

You should try copying iSiloC32.exe into C:\Windows\Command (iirc?), use
just "iSiloC32.exe" as the conversion command, and see if it works then.
Hopefully it will ;)

That is EXACTLY my problem. Here are the particulars of my computer:
Windows 2000 Professional
SiteScooper 3.1.2
ActivePerl 5.6.1.630
ISiloC32.exe AND ISiloX (I have used both but get the same problem with
each)
I have modified the PATH to include both the \perl\bin and \isilo
directories
I still do not get the .pdb file to generate. I am out of ideas at this
point. It seems that our problem is in the iSiloC32 generating the .pdb
file and not with sitescooper itself. I am trying to manually generate
the .pdb file from the command prompt using various iSiloC32 command line
parameters. I will let you know if I have any success.
