Many crashers only happens sometimes. It can be just a coincidence when a crasher happens in some app. Also, in Leopard font problems may appear only in some apps, because Leopard keeps separate font caches for separate apps, so if the cache is corrupted for one app it may be OK for another. All the messages and crash reports I've seen from you point to all kind of third party plugins, and not to Skim. In particular, the crash report you send me crashes due to the MenuMaster APE.
