I have some local changes to send an archive of the pdf to Mail, which  
also has the advantage that it preserve notes. It won't be released  
soon though probably. An other way is to use AppleScript (any  
implementation would be based on AppleScript anyway). You could google  
a bit to find scripts to compose a message using AppleScript (or look  
in the current Skim source code in SKPDFDocument).
