Yes, Skim refreshes automatically, after the first confirmation of the
option Auto in the pop-up window.
I run Skim 1.1.10 and Mac OS X 10.5.4 on MBP Intel.
Unfortunately, I have never gotten the script simpdftexnodel.sh working,
i.e., the jump Emacs -> Skim, with C-c C-v over a location in the tex file
to the corresponding location in the pdf file opened in Skim.
If some help on this could be provided, it would be very useful.
In the customization buffer from Emacs,
(LaTeX > Customize AUCTeX > Tex Command > Tex Command List),
I have set the following values, but C-c C-v tries to open a dvi:
INS
INS DEL Name: simpdftexnodel
Command: simpdftexnodel.sh latex --maxpfb "%t"
How: Value Menu TeX-run-command
Create a process for NAME using COMMAND to process FILE. More
Prompt: Toggle off (nil)
Modes: Value Menu All
Menu elements:
INS
