I can only see the notes in a table-like windows when I rigth click on a
reference and select "Sim Notes ...". I don't know how I can see the notes
in the bottom preview pane in the main window. Even with the first method,
as soon as I add a highlight to the PDF document in Skim, and refresh the
Skim Notes window in BD, everything disappears. The notes are all visible
inside Skim.
