Thanks to all who replied to my original query. I had tried some of the suggestions, but I did take a look at my Zone Alarm settings today and found that under Access / Internet, Ciel.exe had an 'X.' I changed it to a check mark and tried again. Voila! Down came the comet ephemerides! However, it could be that the server error suggested by some was the cause and not my change of the Zone Alarm access. Now I will try installing v. 2.76 on my desktop computer and try downloading before I try changing the Zone Alarm setting.
