I'm currently doing a lot of work in this area, and have a number of ideas I'd like to explore. Is there a developer's forum where we can discuss things? I notice in the v3007 build the nebulae colors configuration dialog is blank. I'm just coming to the end of filling this in on my copy of the source, I can send you my code if you want. Q. How do I register as a developer? This is not working if you change the password from the Configuration - System screen, and then save the program parameter ? It is expected the readme.txt file produce an error message but on my computers it continue to process the other files without problem. It seem I need to add a little more error checking in this function. I remove the database panel always flashing as in the previous version when asteroid data are missing, now this is silently ignored. Maybe I need to keep this for the first program run, or add a setup wizard to set the essential parameters. But all the user interface is to be reviewed after I finish to add the basic functions.
