Check which catalogs are active for the chart, and pay close attention to the field min/max values. If I have the Bright Star catalog and Tycho2 catalogs selected, but have field min set to 0 for both (so I'm actually getting duplicate chart objects in a 1� field), then for some reason only one star is labelled. But if I set field min/max for Tycho2 to [0, 15], and to [15, 360] for BSC, then I get many stars labelled. If I turn on GSC and set field min/max to [0, 2] (and reset the Tycho2 field min to 2), then I get a huge number of labelled stars.
