major player in the asteroid hunting game, and astorb is still being updated
regularly.
The number of numbered asteroids (those whose positions have been measured
often enough over a long enough period of time so that they are in no danger of
being "lost") recently passed 100,000. Much previous software assumed that
only 5 digits were needed, so the asteroid community has been going through a
y2k type issue. So there may be some temporary glitches.
