Hi all again, There was a bug also in my application: in the resulting file, the last two data columns were deleted. I didn't see any problem using this "wrong" file with CDC, the asteroids positions seemed to be correct; anyway the complete procedure is:
http://www.geocities.com/tonon_a/upload/X1col_1.zip I apologize for the error. It was suggested in this list to remove the first blank in each line of the file. I wrote a very simple application that in a few seconds does this job. Download the following file: http://www.geocities.com/tonon_a/upload/x1col.zip Unzip in a folder where there is a copy of astrob.dat; then run the application: a file named "bstorb.dat" will be created. Edit "bstorb.dat", to see if everything is correct, and move to the /ciel/cat/planet folder (and rename with the correct name "astorb.dat"). Remember to save a copy of the original "astorb.dat" file. In 3.xx version this problem was removed, but I still use the 2.76 version; I hope this application can help.
