There are a number of minor "corrections" that might or might not be used for either calculation. For example, is atmospheric refraction accounted for? And is sunset defined as when the center of the sun crosses the horizon, or when the "top" edge finally sinks below the horizon. And under the object info (when right clicking on the sun), it doesn't specify the date that the set time is for. So is it the current "local" day, the current UT day, or the "next" set.
The calendar feature for my location says the sun will set at 18:31 today, but when I right click on the sun for info, it says it sets at 18:34. But then if I zoom in and set the time forward, it disappears as soon as the midpoint hits the horizon, when the time setting is about 18:28:40. -John --- Jan Wikstrom <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I'm using Sky Charts 2.76.
