Hello Group,
This is my first posting to this forum, although I have been following
your discussions for quite some time.
I do use CdC for my amateur astronomy obsorvations and love it. Many
thanks to Patrick and you people clearing some issues for those like me.
Now,I have a small problem with the artificial satellites part of the
program.
Somehow I can not sort it out and hope perhaps some of you can put me
in the righ direction.
Here as it goes:
Through Calendar icon I select Artificial Satellites tab. It promtly
picks up tle files (iridium, visual and few other) from cat\satellites
directory and displays them in the little TLE window for further
selection.
After setting date from-to, limiting mag at 99 and checking for current
chart I click Refresh button. At this a "Satellite file error" pops up.
It happens all the time regardles of the selected Tle file, limitting
mag or any checked or unchecked box.
The .tle files are in the cat\satellites directory but I can't get a
display of any satellite elements in the Artificial Satellites window
due to that error message.
So, where is the problem? I'd appreciate your advice.
