[skychart-discussion] 3.0: compass appears and then disappears

Hi,

Patrick added a compass rose a few versions ago. Very handy tool to see 
where N/S and up/down is when you're flipping and rotating charts to 
match the view finder or CCDs. This compass rose just disappeared. Does 
anyone know what makes it come and go? Same for the tape measure in the 
bottom left.
