Hi Sander, The compass options are in Configuration/Chart,Coordinates/Grid Spacing (need to be renamed Grid Setting).
By default the compass is show when the grid is not. You select with the checkbox in the last column for which field you want the grid or the compass. To always show the compass even with the grid you can check "Always show the compass rose" The rose size can be changed with the "Compass rose size" cursor. And finally the compass image can be changed in data/Themes/ folder (themes are selected in Display/Display color). The compass red/blue arrow always point to the North and South equatorial pole. The yellow arrow point to the pole of currently selected coordinate system, zenith for alt/az, or the North galactic or ecliptic pole. Patrick
