Please send us a link to a photo of the quilt when it is done.

I think nonstandard uses of Skychart like this are really cool.

Here's an another unusual use: Set up Skychart so it showed a gibbous
moon zoomed in enough to show some detail with lots of stars in the
background. Saved as an image called "moon and stars.jpg." Scanned a
sunlit flowering tree from a gardening book and saved it as "sunny
treee.jpg." Using Scheduled Tasks, set up old laptop to switch from
displaying the moon and stars to the sunny tree in the morning when my
son was allowed to get up - when he was too young to tell time and would
otherwise have no idea if it was 2am, 5am, or 8am (in the winter) or 6am
versus 8am in the summer. Hah! For the extra sleep it got us, it would
have been worth buying a laptop for that purpose, alone!

Subject: [skychart-discussion] Permission to use CDC skychart as a
pattern

I would like to obtain permission to use a CDC skychart as the basis for
the pattern for a quilted wall hanging. I intend to submit the
completed wall hanging in public competitions. Can you please tell me
who to contact?
Thank you,
Susan
