[Skypeenglish] A skype 4 question

I keep hearing the noise that indicates that someone has sent me a chat
message. How do I find these chats is skype 4?
I'm sure Doug's message he sent announcing the skype 4 scripts over the
weekend would explain this, but I stupidly deleted it. Can anyone help?
