Hello all,
I will be helping my friend over Tandem set up Skype. She will be using
Skype 3.8 with scripts revision 653A. Before you ask, I wouldn't recommend
she try 4.1 as she's not a competent user (she prefers applications that
have a simple layout and is simple to use). Also judging by the threads
Skype 4.1 just doesn't seem to be ready for proper use by the blind. Fine, a
lot of you are having major success with it, but as I've not tested it
myself I can't say for myself whether to recommend this version for her. The
JAWS version she has is the latest JAWS 10. I hope she'll join the Skype
English list so she has a forum to learn about Skype as well as ask
Skype-related questions.
