It could be that the person who reported this problem maybe has two screen readers fire up when the computer starts. Say NVDA and jaws, and then closes one of the screen readers. I got skype to mess up the other day by crashing jaws, accidentally of course, loading nvda and taking care of the jaws crash. For some reason skype refused to use MSAA and all that with NVDA. Restarted NVDA, no go. That message is produced by the scripts when it appears that Skype is not providing accessibility (MSAA) information to JAWS. I don't know why you'd be getting that message after restarting your machine though. Normally, when that message comes up, Skype itself is very hard to use with JAWS. The most obvious example of this is that it is impossible to arrow through the Contact list and hear where you are. Instead, JAWS might read nothing or read the entire list every time you hit an arrow key. Are you seeing behavior like that also?
