I've reinstalled, removed, reinstalled again and recompiled the scripts, but
no luck. Recompiling gives me unusually long messages. At the end it says
that all compilations were successful, but the same thing is happening

That's not true. I use Skype V 3.8 with JFW 11 and it works well. It
is my intention to upgrade to at least 4.2 but I need to get all the
tutorials I can to learn everything about all the changes.
