Honestly, I agree with you. I have Skype 3.8 on my old laptop that has
raywonder1 on it, but that's because I didn't upgrade the skype version
on
muztech, which your making me want to do that now. I'm going to stop
supporting it as of tonight. I need to write some html to keep me ok
anyways.
Same for me, if I'm in trouble for saying this, then Sarah if you must,
delete me from your list, but I don't care whether you do or not.
Your really cool people, so I shouldn't have that problem.
Once again, as of tonight, Skype 3.8 will not be on Muztech at all.
If you need to download it you best to get on downloading it now,
because
pretty soon, it will be down.

your
skype is asking for trouble. First the new version of skype has fixed a
number of stability issues that means skype will not be crashing on you
regularly. Whole that leave your system open to attack are closed so

means using the new version is safer. The new version includes a new
audio
codec witch offers improved audio quality. It also uses less
bandwidth.
So what your choice to not upgrade is doing to the rest of us is when

with your old version of skype call us we have to use the old codec and
we
use more bandwidth. Thus you decrease our audio quality and put more of

load on our bandwidth and our computers.
Also no improvements is being made to skype 3.x so if you find a problem
it
is not going to get fixed.
Skype 3.x will not work reliably on windows 7 32 and not at all on 64.
So
if you ever plan on upgrading your operating system your going to have
to
go to a lator version of skype.
Sorry people are not going to like me for saying this but what skype
needs
to do at this point is not allow anything under skype 4.01 to connect to
the
skype network. I mean my god this guy the other day called me using
skype
1.4 and the compatability issues we had interfaceing the two were
interesting to say the least.

First of all, go to your skype options, under advanced settings and tab
untill you hear something related to updates and alerts... There are
four
checkBoxes that you have to check in order to prevent skype updates.
However, even you do that, you might get skype trying to force the new
update on you whenever you sign in to skype or you start your computer,
be
careful. I suggest that you start pressing alt+f4 whenever you sign into
skype quickly for about thirty seconds, if there is an update running,
you'll get a message asking you if you really want to cancel the update,
tab
to ok and hit enter. That way, you are safe at least until you sign
again to
your skype account.
