Yeah, exactly, the hotkey for launching skypeTalking is a built-in
keystroke, you don't need to set one manually.

Regarding the hotkey for launching SkypeTalking, this is not set
automatically. You must first set it, say, from the properties of the
desktop icon.For the other thing, do the following:
1. when you launched SkypeTalking, press alt+ctrl+shift+p for going
to the
preferences menu;
2. with tab key, search a folder which says, "Automatically quit
Skype when
I close SkypeTalking", or something like that, and uncheck it with space
bar;
3. with tab go to the Ok button and press space. You should hear JAWS or
your sapi, depending on your ST configuration, telling, telling:
"Settings
saved".
