Yes it may be, since older JAWS API versions didn't support unicode
strings. I was testing SkypeTalking with JAWS 10 and 11, so don't know
how it works with Jaws 7 or any earlier.

Without further info though, I'm gonna guess that the problem is that
SkypeTalking is trying to use the newer JAWS API to make JAWS say
things. That API was either not present or differently named in JAWS
6.20 I think. I don't have a JAWS 6.20 installation handy to check
though.
