Hello everyone.
I need all of your help to solve this one! I am currently using Skype
version 5 and Skype Talking. Now I have downloaded the scripts for Skype
5, revision 50B, 53 to be exact.
Now I am having a very very annoying issue! Whenever I launch Skype
using JAWS, I keep getting the following message.
Problem: JAWS / or Skype restart required. Skype is unaware that a
screen reader is been used and is not providing all accessibility
information, and all attemps to fix this without restarting JAWS or
Skype have faled. Until the above directions are followed, many things
will not work correctly in Skype with JAWS.
I have tried what a friend Chris Hallsworth suggested, deleting
everything out of my %appdata% folder the JAWS one, to do with Skype.
But still no go, its still doing it! Just tried it again tonight, this
is how I know.
Dug I have also tried what you told Lewis to tell me,
control+alt+shift+S and all it says is sending screen reader flag to all
applications. But alas, no difference. Its only when using JAWS, NVDA
has no problems at all with it!
Please, any help or ideas on how to solve this would be appreciated
greatly, as its driving me up the wall now!
I am using JAWS 12 on Windows 7.
