I found one way to do it. 1. line up the contact's name in the contact list. 2. Right mouse click or press the application key (first left of the rightmost control key). 3. arrow down until you hear "call" and press enter 4. As you have no number to call, You will get a response that the "phone was not answered". That is what you need to hear! 5. Press tab about five or six times until you hear "previous" and "next" 6. Press enter on "next" 7. When the screen settles down, press tab a lot of times until you hear "Call phones" and press tab once more to hear "More calling Options" button. 8. Press enter on More calling options. In this dialog you will find edit boxes for different types of phone numbers. This does the trick although it seems a bit elaborate! In the instructions in Skype help, there is mention of a visual icon to click on. I suppose that makes it easier and more direct. However, if you are using a screen reader I think the above procedure will do the trick. Please let us know what you find works.
