Thank you all for your responses. Although you did not seem to have
received the same message I did, I still think it came from skype and not from
a virus or spam source. I am happy with the version I have and do not want to
update. I have skype 5.1.something. However, I heard once on the list or I
thought I heard that there is now 5.5; but it seems like I was wrong. There is
not such a thing. If there is nothing later than 5.1, then I am happy with
what I have. Well, sorry to have bothered you with that news. The version of
skype I have updated itself without asking me or caring if I wanted it or not
and that was recently.
