Hi I never was able to get facebook and skype to work properly. and this was
after going to skype.com downloading the new version of skype and then going
to dug's website and following the instructions to download the scripts
version 729 and install them. when I do I am able to get skype to announce
the facebook option in the contacts list but when I hit enter on the re
connect button all I get is facebook empty idem. any suggestions? I am
running a xp pc with jaws 12 and i have the same problem on my laptop
running windows 7 and jaws 13. from Mich.

Skype/Microsoft has a publicly stated position on this: They have no
intention of integrating Facebook and, presumably, other non-Skype
protocol messages into the Skype API. Their philosophy is that

readers, such as nonvisual desktop access or window eyes.
