Dear friend, make sure that your skype view is compect view.
Didn't you find by pressing several tabs as contact request button?

When I signed into Skype, I heard the contact details requesting sound but
I can’t find where is that button to accept that request.
In Skype 6.2, the button was next to add contacts button but now I can’t
find it.
