Not sure if your questions were fully addressed yet.

How to send voicemails: Press the Applications key, or Shift+F10 if
you don't have one, on a person's entry in the Contacts list or the
Conversations list. Then either Call the person and wait for the
voicemail to pick up, or go down farther and select Send Voicemail to
send one without calling first.

How to play a voicemail: Find the person's entry in the Conversations
list and press Enter to open the chat window (or screen area in
Default view) for that person. Shift+Tab to the chat message list or,
with my scripts, use Ctrl+5 once or twice to focus it directly. Then I
suggest pressing the End key to jump immediately to the last message,
then if necessary, arrow up to the line that actually contains the
voicemail. Finally, from that line, Tab until you hear "Play" and
press Space to play the message. When done, you can press "Delete" if
you like, to keep from accumulating old voicemail files on your
computer.

I don't know how to call a person not in your contact list, except an
actual phone number for which you can use Call Phones in the View menu
or Ctrl+D to go there directly. It may be possible to call a
non-contact, non-phone number; I just haven't had to try that. Most
Skype users don't allow calls from unknown users anyway though.

How to answer an incoming contact detail request: Follow the steps for
playing a voicemail, but find the contact request line and tab to
Accept, instead of finding a voicemail and tabbing to Play.

How to request contact details from someone already in your list: Find
the name as you would when sending a voicemail, but choose "Resend
Contact Request" instead of Call or Send Voicemail.

How to search for a contact: Type all or the first part of the
contact's name or Skype ID, then use DownArrow to move through
matches. Press Escape to clear the search box at any time. I believe
it will clear itself after a short time automatically as well.

Hi skype users. a question. a friend of mine has had trouble her
skype won?t let her alt page up and alt page down to answer calls. now
that microsoft has said demand we use their product and accessibility
for blind be damned by ending support for GW connect?s primary skype
kit and now that I have uninstalled it, do any on list know if
microsoft will offer any tutorials or have proposed any changes in
skype to honor their commitment to accessible since for us each time
skype is updated it is more and more complicated? so questions. one
How do I answer voicemails, send voice mails or call someone not on my
contacts list like the custom contact feature GW connect had? how do I
reauthorize invited contacts and how to search more eaisly now that we
are forced to use a product that is more and more difficult to use by
the blind each day. my friend?s not on this list. I think I will
propose a resolution to our state convention critical of microsoft?s
seemingly less concern for accessibility and forced us of an
increasingly less accessible product. if we don?t do something here
the blind will fall further and further behind in the digital devide.
