I reread your original message and might now have a better idea what you were saying:
1. I think you said you are not hearing chat messages automatically as they come in, if you are not in a Skype window when they arrive. The scripts should announce an incoming message in the chat window you have in focus, but the scripts have never announced incoming chats in all windows at once, nor announced them when you are not in a Skype window. If you have Skype configured to bring up a system tray alert when a new chat arrives from someone you are not already talking to, the scripts can read that when the alert pops up, if you have configured the scripts to do this from the JAWS Verbosity Options dialog (Insert+V). 2. I think you said you don't automatically hear who is calling but the keystroke for checking this works fine. Skype itself sends alerts now saying who is calling. It is possible that your JAWS is not set up to speak those I suppose. When it works, you should hear the word "Alert" before the announcement of who is calling. That is actually not part of my scripts, and it might require JAWS 15. As to why SkypeWatch is not announcing calls, I can try to test that sometime but I can't use an older JAWS version on this machine.
