Yes, you can now scrap the timestamps: Use F2 or the Insert+V
Verbosity Options dialog to turn that feature on and off.

I have not written the documentation yet for this update, and I do
consider it a beta although it should be stable, but ...
This update allows chat timestamps to be silenced, virtualizations (on
double Alt+numbers etc.) to work including links without alignment
errors, message statuses like "not delivered" and "edited" to speak
first as they once did, and several other things.

Enjoy, and please report any issues, in particular with JAWS versions
